Mildred Agnes Dunaway

MILDRED S. DUNAWAY WAYNESBORO, VA Mildred Agnes (Sheets) Dunaway, 89, widow of Rudolph Lilley "Red" Dunaway, of 102 Grandview Drive, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, in Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born November 24, 1921, in Mt. Sidney, a daughter of the late William David and Bessie (Cook) Sheets. Mrs. Dunaway was a member of Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church and Ladd Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers. Family members include two daughters and a son-in-law, LaVonna Kay Dunaway and Jackie and Eric Lingenfelter, all of Waynesboro; a grandson, Jason Micah Muller; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011, in Augusta Memorial Park by Pastor Larry Strickler. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2011, in the Henry Funeral Home.
