Monna Gay Redifer

MONNA G. REDIFER MT. SOLON, VA Monna Gay (Warner) Redifer, 91, wife of Charles L. Redifer, of Mt. Solon, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015, in Birch Gardens, Staunton, VA. She was born July 21, 1923, in Morgantown, WV, a daughter of the late Jesse Howard and Etta Jane (Bland) Warner. She was a member of Moscow Church of the Brethren. In addition to her husband, family members include two sons and daughters-in-law, Allen L. and Becky Redifer of Mt. Solon and Rickey and Debbie Redifer of Fort Defiance; three grandchildren, Jaime Campbell, Jason Redifer, and Nicholas Redifer; three great grandchildren, Ashley, Owen, and Zachary Campbell; two special nieces, Dorinda Stagner and Carolyn Blizzard; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Eldon Warner and Brommie Warner and three sisters, Cleda Vandevander, Violet Kidwell, and Freda Warner. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015, in Moscow Church of the Brethren Cemetery by Pastor Darren Howdyshell. Memorials may be made to Moscow Church of the Brethren, 866 Nash Road, Mt. Solon, VA 22843. Henry Funeral home is handling the arrangements.
