Nancy Eleanor Allison

NANCY S. ALLISON STAUNTON, VA Nancy Eleanor (Speck) Allison, 80, widow of Paul G. Allison, of 1411 N. Augusta Street, died Monday, May 14, 2012, at her residence. She was born October 18, 1931, in Greenville, a daughter of the late William Beatty and Rebecca (Kennedy) Speck. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Allison was employed by Premier Properties and Augusta County Service Authority. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nancy Claire Allison. Family members include two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Edwin and Robin Allison of Blacksburg and George W. Allison of Staunton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Katherine and John Mozian of Churchville and Rebecca A. Allison of Staunton; a brother and sister-in-law, B. L. and Josephine Speck; a nephew, W. B. Speck of Greenville; and grandchildren, William Allison of Blacksburg and Julie Huffer of Harrisonburg. A memorial service will be conducted on June 2, 2012 at 11 a. m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church by the Rev. John C. Peterson. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Nancy Summers Scholarship Fund at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2001 N.
