Otis Wayne Holley, 89, of Staunton, VA, husband of Nancy A. Holley, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025. 

He was born on September 15, 1935, in Lindsey, VA to the late James L. and Audrey Payne Holley.

Mr. Holley was an Army Veteran, worked for Firestone Corporation, and retired from Sears Catalog Division where he served as Manager for 27 years. He was an Honorary Life Member of the Staunton Elks Lodge #351.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Holley was preceded in death by his brothers, James (Buddy) Holley, Randy Holley, Harold Holley, and Keith Holley; three sisters, Virginia Leake, Susie Coiner, and Ann Phillips; and his former wife and the mother of his children, Peggy Wright Holley.

Surviving family members include his wife, Nancy; a son, Scott Holley and his wife, Jeanne, of Marietta, GA; and a daughter, Deborah Holley Clay and her husband, Paul, of Mechanicsville, VA; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Also surviving is a brother, Everett Holley and his wife, Patsy, of Zion Crossroads, VA and a sister, Mary Holley Wills and her husband, Pete, of Gordonsville, VA.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton with the Reverend Lee Thomas officiating.

At the request of the family, there will be no formal visitation at the funeral home. 

Memorials may be made to Mechanicsville Baptist Church (10200 Louisa Road, Gordonsville, VA 22942) Olivet Presbyterian Church (1019 Richmond Road, Staunton, VA 24401) or the Memorial Fund of the Staunton Elks Lodge #351 (PO Box 2681, Staunton VA 24402).
