Pamela Shiflet, 72, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior at her residence, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
She was born September 18, 1951, in Staunton. She was the daughter of the late C. Moffet and Shara (Ballard) Shiflet.
Pam was a life-long member of Hebron Presbyterian Church and worked for 25 years at Vector Industries.
There were many things in life that Pam enjoyed. Among them were camping, working, listening to the music of The Statler Brothers and Elvis, classic TV, helping others, the company of friends and family, and meeting new people. Her smile would light up the room and all those around her. She exhibited to many the true meaning of happiness, and was like an Angel from above.
Pam is survived by her sister, Karen Marino (Joseph); her niece and nephew, Jessica and David Marino; and three great-nieces.
In addition to Pam’s parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Zwart, and a nephew, Kaleb Zwart.
The family would like to thank Dr. Rob Marsh for his compassionate care for Pam. A heart-felt thanks is extended to special friends and caregivers Nancy DePriest and Ruth Ann Beaghan. Their love and kindness for Pam was a true Blessing. In addition, the family would like to thank the Hospice of the Shenandoah for their genuine care throughout the past several months, not only for visits at home, but also for care at the “Hotel.”
There will be a private burial.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:30 PM Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Hebron Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
