Pamela Smith, 69, of Staunton, formerly of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on April 18, 1952 in Bryan, Ohio to the late William Daniel and Junetta Hartman Grant.
She loved Elvis Presley and his music and was an avid collector of pigs. She loved watching Law and Order and movies and loved her pets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Smith; her daughter, Patti Smith; and two grandchildren, Alexander Pace and Erin Pace.
She is survived by her daughter, Regina Pace (Richard), of Staunton; her son, Adam Smith (Kathleen) of Valdosta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Preston Pace, Lindsey Pace, Jeremiah Bennett, Austin, Victoria, Chelsea; her great-grandchildren, Max, Layla, Kynley; her brothers, Daniel Grant (Kathy) of Butler, Indiana, and Bill Grant of Bryan, Ohio; her special sister-in-law, Gloria Townsend (Greg) of Lake City, Florida; her granddogs, Georgia and Lily; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 13, 2022 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services (3831 North Valdosta Road, Valdosta, Georgia). The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services. A private interment will be held at a later date in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will gather at the residence of Adam and Kathleen Smith 302 Jean Circle, Lake Park, Georgia.
