Patricia Ellen Truslow

PATRICIA S. TRUSLOW STAUNTON, VA Patricia Ellen (Sprouse) Truslow, 60, of 811 West Beverley Street, Staunton, died Monday, June 6, 2011 in the UVA Medical Center, Charlottesville. She was born September 26, 1950 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Robert and Lula Mae (Robertson) Sprouse. Ms. Truslow was a C. N. A. at King's Daughters' Community Health and Rehab Center. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, David W. and Marie Truslow of Staunton; five brothers, Jesse Robertson of Staunton, Frank Simmons of Fishersville, Lester Simmons of Stuarts Draft, Lonnie Simmons and James Simmons, both of Staunton; three sisters, Aven Brown, Linda Waybright, and Nancy Simmons, all of Staunton; two grandchildren, Brandon Truslow of New Hope and Shana Halterman of Staunton; and a great grandchild, Layla Truslow of New Hope. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina M. Truslow. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2011 in the Salvation Army Church by Capt. Bruce Williams. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Kevin Grove, Kevin McCray, Houston Rohr, Danny Dalton, Justin Zimmerman, and Justin Wimer.
