PEARL R. CASH STAUNTON, VA Pearl Rita (Renaudette) Cash, 83, widow of Robert Henry "Bob" Cash of Staunton, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, July 28, 2011 from Augusta Health, Fishersville after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 7, 1928 in Plattsburg, New York, a daughter of the late Esdras and Mary (Jones) Renaudette. Mrs. Cash was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and Eagles 680 Auxiliary. She had a longtime love for bowling and was a member of the Shenandoah Valley Bowlers Hall of Fame. She enjoyed AARP activities and was an avid bingo player. She also loved crochet and sewing. She had a great compassion for all people, especially children. Her husband of 58 years preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 2003. Family members include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert T. "Bobby" and Mary P. Cash of Raphine and Steven D. and Beverly R. Cash of Staunton; a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy C. and Brady L. Kirby of Staunton; grandchildren, Christopher Cash and wife, Amy of Stuarts Draft, Jesse Cash, Rachel Hoy and husband, Justin, of Staunton, Joshua, Joseph, Jacob, and Jennifer Cash; great grandchildren, Blake and Landon Roach, Justice and Jaymin Jones, and another great grandchild expected in January; a sister-in-law, Pauline Carr of Staunton; a brother-in-law, Earl Cash and his wife, Aileen of Lexington; many nieces, nephews, and special friends. She had three sisters and two brothers in New York. She was the last of her immediate family. A funeral service will be conducted at 12 Noon Monday, August 1, 2011,in Christ United Methodist Church by the Rev. Robert A. Edwards. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens in Staunton. Active pallbearers will be Chris Cash, Jesse Cash, Joshua Cash, Joseph Cash, Jacob Cash, and Justin Hoy. Honorary pallbearers will be Rex Greaver, David Cash, Jimmy Myers, Amy Cash, Jennifer Cash, and Rachel Cash. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011 in her Church and other times at the home of Cathy and Brady Kirby. She loved her Lord and was faithful to her Church.
