RAY N. MOYER, SR. STAUNTON, VA Ray Noland Moyer, Sr., 69, husband of Barbara Ann (Lines) Moyer of 2650 Locust Ave. died Thursday, September 1, 2011, at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville. He was born September 16, 1941, in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Edward Calvin and Dimple Elizabeth (Sutton) Moyer. Prior to retirement, Mr. Moyer was employed by DuPont. In addition to his wife, family members include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ray "Randy" Noland, Jr., and Donna Moyer of Fishersville and Richard Allen and Tammy Moyer of Verona; a daughter, Robin Lynn Moyer of Churchville; seven brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Pat Moyer of Reva, Steve and Gail Moyer of Tennessee, Macon and Kay Moyer of Staunton, Sidney and Jean Moyer of Bridgewater, Joseph and Kay Moyer of Huddleston, Larry and Sally Moyer of Pennsylvania, and Roger and Barbara Moyer of Dayton; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Janet Morris of Fort Defiance, Barbara and Jim Miller of Grottoes, Judy and Bill Wheelbarger of Harrisonburg, Nancy and Mac Coffman of Keezletown, and Hope and Dwight Burner of McGayhesville; five grandchildren, Dalton, Kaitlyn, Nathan, Lacee, and Braden; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Elizabeth Moyer; a grandson, Andrew Michael Long; and three brothers, Fred, David, and Bill Moyer. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2011, in Hebron Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Frank Wyche. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Steve Carpenter, Michael Ruleman,Tom Snyder, Eddie Moyer, Troy Henkel, and Kevin Brooks.
