Rebecca Jane Hoover, 74, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Rebecca was born on November 30, 1948, a daughter of the late James Luther and Mary Rose (Coffey) Hoover.
She was employed by Hershey Chocolate of Virginia in Stuarts Draft. She loved dancing, bingo, and country music.
She is survived by her son, Timothy Hoover, Sr. of Fishersville; her long-time partner, Ernie Clymore; her sister, Martha Hoover Rodgers of Fishersville; her grandchildren, Jessica Bazzrea and Sarah Hoover, both of Staunton, and Timothy Hoover, Jr. of Sugar Grove, WV; and her great-grandchildren, Liam O’Roark, Chloe Bazzrea, and Kendalyn Bartley-Hoover.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Bob and Roger Hoover, and her sisters, Shirley Hoover Hite and Betty Virginia Hoover Carroll.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens in Staunton with Reverend Russell Henrich officiating.
