Robert E. Kisamore, 53, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at his residence in Stuarts Draft.

He was born on July 27, 1971, in Harrisonburg to Juanita “Sue” Faye Gilley Kisamore and the late Rex “Pap” George Kisamore, Sr.

Robert worked as a dedicated supervisor at Penny Plate in Fishersville. Beyond his professional life, Robert was a man who cherished time with his “little man,” Reid. Robert had a passion for creating and enjoyed building things and working with his hands.

A true horse enthusiast, Robert found joy in trail riding and being out in nature. His love for the outdoors extended to camping with family, friends, and his Dobermans- who were a great source of joy and companionship in his life.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his significant other, Dara Cole; his sons, Travis Edward Kisamore, Corey Wayne Wheeler, and Brandon Michael Childress; his brothers, Rex George, Jr., and David Lee Kisamore; and his grandson, Reid Kisamore.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his son, Robert Lynn Kisamore.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton.

The interment will be private at a later date.

Active pallbearers will be Aaron Botkin, Aaron Moore, Matt Spitler, Chris Cleveland, Matt Powell, David Kisamore, Sam Earhart, Jacob Moore, and Tyler Holsinger.

Arrangements are being handled by Henry Funeral Home.
