Robert Sylvester Yeago, Jr.

ROBERT S. YEAGO, JR. STAUNTON, VA Robert Sylvester Yeago, Jr., 86, husband of Lillian Lee (Meek) Yeago, of 1014 Ridgemont Drive, died Saturday, April 30, 2011, in Augusta Health, Fishersville. He was born January 24, 1925 in Middlebrook, a son of the late Robert S., Sr., and Edna Viola (Berry) Yeago. Prior to retirement, Mr. Yeago was employed as President and CEO of Ntelos. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church. In addition to his wife, family members include a son, David S. Yeago of Columbia, South Carolina; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann (Yeago) and Heth O. Miller of Richmond; a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy (Yeago) and Clayton Craig of Staunton; and two grandchildren, Eleanor Faulkner Miller and Katharine Elizabeth Thompson Yeago. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret (Yeago) Palmer. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011, in Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church by the Rev. JoAnn Bunn. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be the Men of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Sensabaugh, B.B. Hanger, Charles Beard, Bruce Grover, Sam Heizer, Paul Obaugh, and Will Schuldt. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011, in the Henry Funeral Home.
