Rose C. Green

Rose Marie Cacioppo Green, 77, went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2022.

Rose was born in Janson, Colorado, and was raised in Raton, New Mexico.

Rose loved her childhood and how close her family was. Family meant everything to her. She raised her kids and most of her grandkids. Her favorite thing was getting visits from family. She never ran out of stories to tell us. She enjoyed playing cards and doing crosswords. Her favorite food was Italian. She would make the biggest mess cooking spaghetti and tell us that’s what made it taste so good. Rose had the sweetest and gentle spirit. Every time we visited, we were greeted with a hug and a kiss. She never hung up the phone without, “I love you.” If you were loved by her, it was an unconditional and pure love. This isn’t goodbye but until we see you again, Grandma, forever our angel.

Rose’s surviving family includes her brother, Louie; her sister, Jetta; kids, Skip and Kari, Sharon and Rob, Karen and Burnic, Norbert; her grandkids, Tony (Lindsay), Alex (Taylor), Kevin, Alexus, Chris (Elsey), Richi, Jacob, BW, Jason, Shawna, Michelle, Shawn, Jessica, Shelton, Tommy, Brooke, Jayden, and Hopie; and her great-grandkids, Jay’von, Lexi, Abel, Abigail, Izaiah, Mia, Mateo, Jason, Jr., Damion, Taralynn, Winter, Nalani, Ronan, and Audrey.
