ROY V. JOHNSON WAYNESBORO, VA Roy Vincent Johnson, 72, husband of Wanda Lee (McCauley) Johnson, of 114 Summercrest Ave., died Friday, June 17, 2011, in King's Daughters' Rehab Center, Staunton. He was born May 17, 1939 in Oceanside, NY, a son of the late Vincent Jacobus and Grace (Appelgate) Johnson. Prior to retirement, Mr. Johnson was employed by Augusta Health. He was a member of Blue Ridge Church of Christ. In addition to his wife, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Paula Engleman of Stuarts Draft; four daughters, Joni Ann Johnson Januszewski of Fishersville, Paula Ann Johnson Fix and husband T. of Churchville, Jessica Johnson Deavers and husband, Chris of Harrisonburg, and Jennifer Johnson Bohn and husband Casey of Richmond; a brother, Pastor Bob Johnson and wife Gail of Waynesboro; and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2011 in Blue Ridge Church of Christ by Pastor Todd Brown. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to the Eclipse (Alzheimers) Unit or the Rehab Unit of King's Daughters' Health and Rehab Center, 1410 North Augusta Street, Staunton, VA 24401.
