Ruby Marjorie Rankin

RUBY A. RANKIN STAUNTON, VA Ruby Marjorie (Andes) Rankin, 84, widow of Leonard Franklin Rankin of 1131 A Montgomery Ave., died Friday, July 15, 2011 in Envoy of Staunton. She was born March 28, 1927 in Mt. Sidney a daughter of the late Dewey Davidson and Lena Mae (Weaver) Andes. Mrs. Rankin was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Family members include two sons and daughters-in-law, Benny E. and Dianne Rankin of Swoope and Larry F. and Brenda Rankin of Staunton; six grandchildren, Marc and Christina Rankin, Curtis and Rebecca Rohr, Alicia, Amy, Emily, and Ryan Rankin; and great grandchildren, Aydan Rankin, Sierra Swisher, and Lola Rohr. She was preceded in death by a brother and a twin sister. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2011, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bobby Campbell. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be church members. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime.
