Samuel H. Richardson
Samuel Hunter Richardson, a life-long resident of Staunton, died on 10/30/2022.
Sam, or Hunter to his family, is survived by his brother Roger, special niece Linda S. Hoffman, other nieces and nephews, good neighbors and many friends, including Staunton Firemen, members of the Kathy’s Coffee Crew and fellow train enthusiasts.
His dear companion of 55 years Mary S. Cauley, son Doug, brothers Cecil and Charles, sisters Chloia and Lois, and his spoiled rotten cat Mr. Muff predeceased him.
He was a Korean War Army Veteran, long time member of the Augusta County and Staunton Fire Departments, and a self-employed electrical contractor before retiring.
A graveside service will be held at Thornrose Cemetery on Thornrose Ave. on November 4, 2022 at 11 AM.
