Sandra L. Stuart

Sandra Lee Stuart, 62, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, in Staunton.

She was born on February 23, 1962, in Staunton to the late Franklin D. and Elsie M. Crawford.

Sandra was dedicated to her family and cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. She was a very sociable and outgoing person, enjoying shopping sprees with her sisters. She had a real passion for cooking, often preparing meals that brought friends and family together. She will fondly be remembered for the immense love and compassion she showed to everyone she met.

She is survived by her children, Kendall and Tyrone Crawford, Shantia Pringle and Patrick, Derrick, Tyran, Tyrone, Jr. and Latara Stuart; her brothers, Franklin, Quentin and Shane Crawford; her sisters, Cynthia Graham, Judy Butler and James, and Carolyn Stevenson and James; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Tyrone Stuart and her previous spouse, Donald G. Diggs.

The family will receive friends at 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Staunton.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Turner officiating.

A burial will immediately follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
