Susan Marian Meyers Wills, 76, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

She was born on April 18, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Jack Charles, Jr. and Carmen “Jean” Regina Brand Meyers.

Susan was a dedicated member of the Annex Fellowship Church in Staunton. For many years, she took on numerous roles within her church community. She was a cherished Sunday school teacher, sharing her passion for learning and her love for scriptures. Her leadership extended further as she was in charge of the senior citizens' group. As the director of the vacation Bible school, she crafted engaging programs that enriched the lives of many youths. She was also the editor of the church newsletter. Her commitment did not stop there; she founded the church library, facilitating a love for reading and learning within her church family.

An avid reader, Susan volunteered at both the Augusta County and Staunton Public libraries. She actively participated in programs that encouraged preschool children to embrace reading, making a lasting impact on the literacy and learning in her community.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberley Beth Wills; her son, Larry David Wills, and his wife, Vera and their children, Charles and Grady; her nephews, Branden Meyers and his wife, Jennifer, and Adam Meyers; and her sisters-in-law, Cindy Meyers and Linda Wills Lane and her husband, Johnny.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Douglas Wills; her brother, Donald Charles Meyers; and her sister-in-law, Donna “Cookie” Kay Wills Kosak.
