Teresa P. Jenkins

Teresa "Terri" Lynn Pickett Jenkins, 63, of Staunton, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, September 9, 2024.

Born on October 24, 1960, in Alexandria, she was the daughter of Ernestine Elizabeth Lacy Ball and the late James Marion Pickett.

Terri dedicated much of her life to her career, serving as a manager at WalMart, where she was known for her strong work ethic and leadership. However, her greatest pride and joy came from her family. Her life revolved around them, and she loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in the world.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Robert "Bob" Preston Jenkins; her son, Robert Lacy Wilbur and his wife, Kim; her daughters, Tiffany Dawn Jenkins and Amy Lambert Jenkins and her fiancé, Wayne Allhiser; her grandchildren, Emily Trippeer, Cee Trippeer, Madison Trippeer, Christopher Sanzone, Emmett Allhiser, Mason Wilbur, Hailey Wilbur, and Haden Wilbur; her brothers, Alan Daniel Pickett and James Timothy Pickett; her sisters, Melissa Dawn Ball, Valerie Renee Ball, Vanessa Ann Ball, Elizabeth Ann Pickett, and Melisa Emerald Dawn Pickett; and her life-long friend, Denise Sowder.

In remembrance of Terri's life, a memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jenkins Residence, located at 3097 Middlebrook Road, Staunton, VA 24401. Her family and friends invite all those who knew her to join in celebrating her remarkable life and the loving spirit she shared with everyone around her.
