THELMA C. WILLINGHAM BENTONVILLE, VA Thelma Agnes "Jo" (Clough) Willingham, 87, widow of Mike Willingham, and of 365 Bentonville Road, died Monday, August 15, 2011, in Augusta Health in Fishersville. She was born January 15, 1924, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late William Henry and Agnes (Gross) Clough. She was raised in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Willingham was an active member of Bentonville Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was the organist. She was co-founder and member of South Warren Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Family members include two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Butch Wells and Janet and Ken Cline; a sister, Alice Crawford of Manteca, CA; four grandchildren, Andy Wells and his wife, Mandy, Amy Farthing and her husband, Jeff, Stephanie Birchett and her husband, Johnny, and Chris Cline and his wife, Melissa; and ten great grandchildren, Molly, Lucy, Patrick, Clark, Sarah, Gabriel, Colby, Campbell, Brayden, and Jaxon. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Hawkins. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday (August 18, 2011) in the Bentonville Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Wayne Woodard. The family will receive friends following the service in the Church. Memorials may be made to the Bentonville Baptist Church, 2438 Stonewall Jackson Highway, Bentonville, VA 22610.
