Thomas “Tommy” Edward Lawson, 68, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at his residence in Waynesboro.
He was born on April 21, 1954 to the late Joe Edward Lawson, Sr. and Doris Keys Marshall.
Tommy loved the outdoors and coon hunting was his passion. He was retired from American Safety Razor and also owned and operated his own company, Lawson & Sons, after his retirement.
He is survived by his daughters, Telina Lawson, Tammy Robertson, Nicole Fisher, and Becky Fitzgerald; his sons, Thomas John Lawson, Jr. and Dustin Fisher; his brother, Billy Lawson; his very special girls and boys, Kirstin Ingram, Zoey Myers, Serenity Powell, and Keirsten Lawson and Asher Hilbert, Shawn Campbell, and Camden Lawson – they were his heart; and his grandchildren – he was blessed with twenty-one grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his grandson and best friend, Drake Powell.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Timothy Lawson; his sister, Brenda Louise Lawson Martin and his brothers, Dale Alvin Marshall, and Roger R. Lawson.
