Thomas E. Leech

Thomas Edward Leech, 73, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Augusta Health Shenandoah House in Fishersville.

He was born on May 21, 1951, in Newport News to the late Robert Scott, Sr. and Harriet Jane Crayton Leech.

Thomas had a lifelong fascination with medical science. He enjoyed reading and learning, particularly the Bible. As a proud member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, his spirituality was the cornerstone of his life. 

In addition to his love for science and faith, Thomas was an enthusiast of ham radio, scanners and cars, always eager to fix and improve something. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was a dedicated employee at Cracker Barrel, where his presence will be missed by many.

He is survived by his son, Justin Brian Leech; his sister, Nannette Louise Leech Baker and his ex-wife, Emma Leech.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Scott Leech, Jr. and his sister, Amanda Pleasant Leech Rothwell.
