Vada H. Kellogg

Vada Jane Huffer Kellogg, 92, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Brookdale Senior Living in Staunton.

She was born on August 2, 1931, in Augusta County to the late Eston Samuel and Stella Campbell Huffer.

Vada was wed to Ray Kellogg June 11, 1970, until his passing in 2021. She was a dedicated worker for Brown and Root as a safety coordinator. In addition to her successful career, she enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending countless hours enjoying the outdoors.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Kiser, Donna Powell, and Jane Carton (Richard); her sister, Shirley Mullenax; her grandchildren, Michelle Ruggiero, Andrew Tutwiler, Justin Powell, Autumn Powell, Whitney Shifflett, Nick Kiser, Jeffery Struble, and George Struble; and her fourteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Ann Huffer Tutwiler; her brother, Eston Odell Huffer; a grandson, Charles Tutwiler and her great grandchildren, Harper, and Avery Powell.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Green Hill Cemetery in Churchville. The Reverend Lester Kennedy III will officiate the service.
