Virginia A. Smiley

Virginia Elizabeth (Arehart) Smiley, 89, widow of Guy Howard Smiley, passed away on July 5, 2021 at home.

She was born on Augusta 17, 1931, a daughter of the late Oscar Lightner Arehart and Josephine Ann (Troxell) Arehart.

Mrs. Smiley was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church and graduated from Wilson Memorial High School

Family members include a daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Joseph Martin, a grandson, Jeremy Martin, and a sister Dorene Arehart.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lucille Humphreys, Linda Marie Arehart, Lorraine Arehart, Wallace Arehart, Eddie Arehart, Wayne Arehart, and an infant sister.

The family will receive friends on Friday July 9, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Henry Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday July 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
