WILLIAM W. GRIMM STAUNTON, VA William Waldo "Tucker" Grimm, 88, husband of Edith Mae (Root) Grimm, of 72 Back Meadow Lane, died Friday, July 15, 2011. He was born August 1, 1922, in Augusta County, a son of the late William Oscar and Lena Bell (Butler) Grimm. Mr. Grimm was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army's 82 Airborne Division. At his retirement, he was a foreman for Westinghouse Electric Corp, in Verona. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR races. In addition to his wife of 69 years, he is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Judy Landes of Maryland, June and Paul (Butch) Davis of Staunton, and Joline and Scott Garland of Staunton; eight grandsons; fifteen great grandchildren; and special friends and hunting companions, Charlie Poole of Walker's Creek and Everette Leroy (Buddy) Gutshall. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Levi Grimm; and sisters, Iva Marie Demastus and Mildred Lavinia Watson. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplain Richard Vaughan. Memorials may be made to the Rockingham Memorial Hospital Cancer Center, 2010 Health Campus Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22801
