WILSON M. MCCREDIE STAUNTON, VA Wilson Moore McCredie, 90, husband of Dallas (Cameron) McCredie of 608 Fielding Place, died Saturday, November 12, 2011, at King's Daughters' Rehab Center. He was born November 15, 1920, in Southport, England a son of the late Austin and Frances (Wilson) McCredie. Mr. McCredie was a World War II veteran of the British Royal Air Force. Following World War II, Mr. McCredie joined the Royal Canadian Air Force. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Princeton University, Forrestal Research Center, as an electronic technician. In addition to his wife, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Ian and Deb McCredie of DE; two daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and Jerry Harman of Staunton and Gail and Matthew Faherty of CT; a sister and brother-in-law, Molly and George Mowat of Northern Ireland; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Ward. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel.
