COLEMAN W. MUNDIE, JR. STAUNTON, VA Coleman Woodsy Mundie, Jr., 52, widower of Mary Ann (Gilligan) Mundie, of 47 Brookside Lane, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011, in Augusta Health, Fishersville. He was born October 20, 1958, in Charlottesville a son of Coleman W. Mundie and Maxine (Shifflett) Mundie Shipp. He attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife on October 12, 2006. In addition to his mother, family members include four sons, William Ray Mundie of Norfolk, Stephen James Mundie, Curtis Coleman Mundie, and Woodsy Llewellyn Mundie; a daughter, Alyssa Nicole Mundie; his step-father, William Shipp; a brother, Chris Mundie; a sister and brother-in-law, Vickie and Jim Smith; two granddaughters, Claire Woodgard and Abigail Mundie; two grandsons, Steven Perry and David Perry; and a special friend, Kayla Winslow. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2011, in Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery by Father Joseph Wamala. The family will receive friends at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Vickie and Jim Smith, 47 Brookside Lane, Staunton.
