Zoe W. Jones

Zoe Shaner Wagner Jones, 70, formerly of Staunton passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Cardinal Senior Living in Roanoke.

She was born on September 21, 1954, in Staunton to the late Francis Owen and Eleanor Stratton Shaner Wagner.

Zoe was a 1973 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. She was a faithful member of the Christ United Methodist and United Methodist Women.

 She is survived by her brother, Jeffery Owen Wagner and his wife, Jackie; her sister, Rita Delores Wagner Watkins; and her four nieces and nephews; her Aunt Lelia; and many cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Dale Jones.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Christ United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 12:00 PM.

Inurnment will be at Thornrose Cemetery.
